  1. Spending money on a Spaceport is absolutely ridiculous. Who on earth wants one of those. Are we planning to go to the moon from Newquey ?? For goodness sake, who had that idea?? They must be nuts. Let’s get on with using the airport as an airport for flights to Europe or wherever. NOT the flippin moon!!

  2. If I’m reading this correctly –
    – Cornwall Council has a debt of £800 million, which amounts to about £1,400 per person in the county
    – despite this they are spending £12 million on subsidising a Spaceport, the pet project of an (allegedly) tax-evading billionaire
    – they continue to “slash services” both children’s and adults’ in line with the Government’s ongoing austerity measures
    – and on December 12th thousands of people in the county are planning to vote Conservative !!!!!
