  1. The RFU may have put the final nail in the coffin. Without the prospect of Premiership rugby the business case definitely doesn’t stack up (it probably never did anyway)

  2. If he has been to Cornwall, he won’t have got as far as Truro, much less Penzance. Rock and Padstow is their Cornwall! The stadium has no carbon reduction plan, no surface water and sewerage plan. Now is the time to draw a line under this vanity project! This county has more important things to deal with – a broken social care system, an inadequate public transport, pockets of poverty and deprivation and, last but not least, getting to net zero carbon by 2030.
