  1. Please do not spend any more of my money on vanity projects for Cornwall. I can’t afford it. Launceston Town Council seems eager to spend £81,500 pa on sundry costs to run the Library in town in partnership with Cornwall Council. That accounts for over 90% of the running costs. Cornwall Council is offering advice and a share in future profits – all speculative. That looks like a very poor business deal for Launceston and I am paying once more. Why? Cornwall Council has a statutory obligation to provide Launceston with a library service. We need do nothing but hold them to account. Why were Launceston Town Councillors last night so bent on partnership with Cornwall Council? I shall ask the Town Clerk.
