  1. The proposed timeline for this exercise, being June 2018 to April 2020, conveniently slots between the last Cornwall Council election that was held in May 2017 and the next Cornwall Council election scheduled for May 2021 but, presumably, this has no political bearing.

  2. This is very sad news for Cornwall and an indication of how putting healthcare decision making in the hands of non-healthcare civil servants is dangerous.
