  1. This is what happens when one company is allowed to have a monopoly over a region’s media. They can effectively treat staff and readers as they like. So congratulations to Cornwall Reports for retaining its independence. May it ever be so.

  2. A free media is the only part of democracy in this country that really works.
    Any reduction in local media strikes a very serious blow to our freedom.
