A Truro man has been ordered to pay fines and costs of more than £1,000 for fly-tipping at Illogan.
Darren Longar, aged 36, pleaded guilty at Truro Magistrates Court to being in a position to control the use of a vehicle with regards to fly-tipping in a country lane at Illogan in March 2016.
He was ordered to pay costs in full along with a fine and a victim surcharge totalling £1,149.70. Truro Magistrates stated “Fly tipping is a serious offence and one that the court takes very seriously.”
