The refugee support group in Bude has given more details of the second Syrian family now on its way to the North Cornwall town.
A young couple with children aged 4, 3 and 2 are due to arrive in late January.
A message on the Bude Welcomes Refugees Facebook page says: “We're all really looking forward to meeting them and helping them to become part of this community leaving behind a life of fear, hunger & no hope.
“Wishing all our amazing sponsors, who have made this possible and all those of you who support the group in all sorts of ways, a Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy and Peaceful New Year.”
The Bude refugee support group is the first in Britain to be approved to house a second family from war-torn Syria.
The first family arrived in June.
A similar initiative is underway in Launceston.
