  1. Well I think we must remember that we (not me and lots of us obviously) elected them and have a right to call them to task and demand proper responses from them!! I was once Sarah Newton’s most prolific correspondent but I lost heart. To be entirely fair, she always answered and did take things up with minister, but we need to lobby them about policies we don’t like, are damaging the planet, the NHS, social care etc. We can’t afford the luxury of waiting for the next election. It will be too late if we don’t scrutinize everything they do. And don’t forget the council elections are a way off – they needn’t be complacent and think they will get in there just because they have succeeded on our ridiculously unfair voting system.
