Finally Cornwall Councillors are engaged in the “buy local” debate. In 2014 when RCHT gave it’s catering contract to private firm MITIE against my advice, I warned that they would jettison some local food providers for national ones. Within months they had done exactly that with no objections from our Cornwall Council.
