Time is running out to vote for a fundraising campaign which is trying to bring new play equipment to a North Cornwall village.
The St Tudy Playground is seeking a £25,000 community award from the One Family Foundation. The village is up against competition from London, Yorkshire, Avon and Wales so needs every online vote it can garner.
The playing field was established in 1932 with the small playground established in the 1970s. One or two pieces of equipment were replaced over the last 10 years - but some of it is now rather tired and the local community wants to redevelop the playground by everyone in the parish.
There is currently no disabled equipment and adults with mobility issues also cannot help their children play. A successful bid will help solve these problems.
Voting closes at 12 noon on Wednesday 6th September. To help St Tudy, visit https://foundation.onefamily.com/projects/st-tudy-playing-field-playground/
