Brilliant analysis. the last sentence is clear – language trickery to hide the fact that there are poltiical games at play here and a desire to lead – down the line ok – setting up an Accountable Care Wotsit (let’s face it call it what U like it’s an Organisation) – which will mean handing over public budgets into the hands of private non-NHS bodies. Clever Kennally Care!

    Not to be trusted as Kate Kennally comes from the ethos of Barnet Council in London where outsourcing went to extremes. This is an idealogical mindset that believest only business and entrepreneurial spirit can perform. Publicly owned and provided services are to be done away with in her book.

    So… once Council have the health and social care in their hands – all she has to do is outsource to another organisation. Job done.

    Or am I being a silly cynical sausage?
