  1. Kevin Lavery was the first CEO of the unitary authority and was notable for the damage he did, including switching planning officers report. However if he came back now he would have a fit about the huge management team that our latest import has created including 23 directors.

  2. He may have been appointed by the Lib Dem’s but it was under a Tory administration that he carried out most of his privatisation projects.

  3. Was he the first chief executive?… What about that non-entity Sheila Healey who lasted a few months before legging it having trousered a reputed £400k payoff.
