  1. “Last week Cornwall Council’s chief executive, Kate Kennally, insisted the project would not become a “white Elephant.”” Who is in control of Cornwall Council? “Pigs might fly” springs to my mind together with “Virgin” on the ridiculous. What on Earth is or isn’t going on in the Council chambers? Financially, Cornwall Council appears to be out of control.

  2. I don’t understand how Kate Kennally can insist that this will not be another white elephant, when there is no proven technology, not monetary commitment from Branson, no viability study, no meaningful market research and no business plan.
