Port Isaac Rowing Club has returned to the Cornish mainland after another World Pilot Gig Championships on the Isles of Scilly.
The May Day weekend saw the Ladies Supervets come 23rd and the Men’s Supervets 28th in their respective races.
The same people rowed again in the main event, four races over two days - the men came 4th in Group I and the ladies Roscarrock Crew ended 5th in Group J.
The club also entered Corsair with two experienced club rowers who took a composite crew, including novices from other clubs, for their first WPGC experience.
Corsair collected the wooden spoon after the four races. The novice rowers thanked the club for giving them the opportunity to experience such a great Pilot Gig Championships on the isles of Scilly.
