With fewer than two weeks to go before polling day, Cornwall’s main political parties have been pounding the streets and knocking on doors for an intriguing council by-election in West Looe.

The Liberal Democrats are defending the seat previously held by their former group leader, the late Edwina Hannaford.

The Conservatives have in recent years come second but this time there are also candidates from the Labour and Green parties, which is expected to divide the anti-Tory vote.

Polling will be on Thursday 4th April.
