Police have named the woman killed in an accident at the A30 Avers junction near Redruth on Wednesday evening. She was Tammy Platow, 31, from Penryn. She died when her red Hyundai Santa Fe car collided with the rear of a green tractor that was towing a loaded trailer. A one year old child was also in the car but sustained only minor injuries. Police are appealing for witnesses to the accident.
