  1. The cognitive dissonance displayed by the Council is extraordinary. On the one hand they pass a resolution that there is an eco-climate emergency and will take urgent steps to cut carbon emissions and more – which essentially means cutting road miles travelled in Cornwall drastically within 5 years, and on the other hand they agree a new major road scheme with some green tassels on it.
    £84million would pay for over 20 million bus journeys (at an average £4 fare) – why not make buses travel in the St.Austell area free instead, adding new busses and routes and cutting out a lot of local traffic…
