  1. I think that is very rough on the staff. All the high powered plans are all very well but there is usually a human cost. Sadly, with the refurbishment there are no plans for a community area for Truro – which was promised when they took our City Hall away. Now there is really no community space in the centre of Truro and certainly nowhere to have beer and jazz festivals etc that we used to enjoy. The City Council will have to move out of the municipal building during the refurbishment – a challenge for a busy local council that is taking on lots of additional responsibilities that Cornwall Council are devolving.
