  1. We all need to remember that the waste we generate is our responsibility until the moment it is collected. Far too much food is wasted, which has huge implications, not least for disposal. I fail to see why we are all held hostage by people who casually waste food. Take responsibility – compost, get a wormery, don’t overbuy – it takes earth’s resources to grow food. The shops hardly ever shut so there is no excuse for profligacy.
