Cornwall Reports has become the latest local news website to join the Independent Community News Network (ICNN.)
The organisation seeks to represent and promote local news publishers across the country.
Cardiff University’s Centre for Community Journalism announced in December that it was launching a representative network for the independent community and hyperlocal news sector. The network seeks to advocate and lobby on behalf of independent news publishers across the country.
Cornwall Reports is unusual because it relies on subscribers, rather than advertisers.
