  1. It would be useful if the impact of this situation were qualified. With technology is quite possible for a councillor to function fairly effectively without physical attendance at meetings, but if one is unable to perform significant duties it would be interesting to hear his constituents views – especially as the majority of people only get minimal sick-pay if they are unable to work!
