    • Would Opposition councillors not have been expected to oppose? The ruling administration had to change its budget because, on this question, it lost its majority.

      • No, this was not a political decision, and it was supported by all members of the Overview and Scrutiny Committee, which is cross party. The point that I was making was that it was not the Lib Dems that revolted, it was all of us, and we were trying to maintain the funding to this really vital community asset.
