The Cornish electorate voted fairly convincingly in 2016 to leave the EU. Surely our Council should respect the will of the public they serve?
They have no mandate to progress this call for a second referendum. Their credibility in my eyes has dropped as a result.
Our MP’s look set to vote in a completely different way to our council’s plea. Anyone looking in from the outside is surely going to say that the Cornish just don’t know what they want.
