The government has been forced to respond to an online petition calling for funding for the Cornish language.
As the deadline for signatures closed this weekend, support reached a total of 10,342 – just clearing the target of 10,000 required to force a ministerial response.
If a petition reaches 100,000 names it must be further considered for a Parliamentary debate.
