  1. Is this turning into the Cornwall equivalent of the HS2? A vanity project which must be accomplished at all costs? Just what was the reputation of Kennally in Barnet? Was this her area of expertise ‘oop country’ ? Further investigations required me thinks.

Of the social workers and doctors I’ve asked, all so far have either rejected outright or been highly sceptical of the value of combining health and social care. “Two different ways of working, won’t work* said one, and another, “but people have to pay for social care and not, at present, for health – are they softening people up to pay for healthcare?” And “why do it?”
