Every economist in the land would say that the most powerful partnership between the public and private sector would be where the private sector provides the lead, supported by the public sector. That is what a LEP is meant to be. Unfortunately, in Cornwall and Scilly we have an unelected, unaccountable quango controlled by Cornwall Council producing the expected results.
