  1. the council appoint their chairman and he appoints his own cabinet.They will decide their own salaries and expenses ,they will allow themselves to retire early on a final years salary related pension,which no company in the country can afford for it’s employees,go on soiree/sojourn to the south of France,generous holiday and sickness benefits,free parking,more than comfortable working environment and virtually unsackable ,don’t even have to be good at your job and unaccountable. Wow what a job,who picks up the bill for all that ???? The council tax payer as usual.
